Course Outline
HLT41120 Certificate IV in Health Care is the principle nationally recognised qualification for those seeking employment in industry. Covering clinical and physical assessment skills, together with essential emergency care competencies, students acquire the experience and knowledge necessary to function effectively as an Industrial Medic.
This three phase course includes external studies, together with an e-learning component, face-to-face learning, and clinical placement in busy metropolitan workplace where students are likely to experience real life emergencies such as Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, medical and traumatic emergencies

Careers
This HLT41120 – Certificate IV Healthcare covers work involving delivery of limited direct client care in an emergency response context. The qualification focuses on work in the ambulance industry done by volunteers or workers who provide a basic emergency response and transport roles in areas where there is a relatively low workload. This qualification is suited to Australian Apprenticeship pathways.

Study Pathways
After successful completion of the programme students will be awarded a Nationally Recognised Qualification for HLT41120 – Certificate IV in Health Care.
These units may provide credit towards a range of other health and related qualifications at Certificate IV level and above with many students continuing with their pre-hospital care knowledge and training and moving into more advanced areas of study as a natural progression.
Course Objectives
The course is delivered in 3 module phases which includes:
- e-Learning (self-paced online units)
- 4 weeks classroom time and
- 80 of clinical placement.
Course Delivery
This course requires face-to-face training to gain the practical, hands-on skills that you need, with some components of online learning involved.
We are flexible on where you would like to complete this course – we can travel to your site in Western Australia, or we have regular classes at our training facility in Belmont, Perth (Level 1, 190 Abernethy Road, Belmont, WA, 6104).
100% attendance is required for the classroom time due to the level of course content.

- Unrestricted Driving Licence
- Cert II/III or IV or Australian Year 12 certificate
- Before placements – a Working with Children’s Check & National Police Clearance.
Credit for skills and past study
Wilson Medic One mutually recognises Statement(s) of Attainment and qualifications issued by other RTO’s.
Course fees: $5990
Payment Terms: deposit of $1000 is required to secure your enrolment. The remaining balance will be invoiced during your classroom session and full payment is required on completion of your classroom component.
We also offer a payment plan of $500 or $1000 a month payable on the 1st or the 15th of the month, whilst Wilson Medic One do not charge additional fees for this service, EZYPAY the subscription payment service used, does. Please see link to EZYPAY website for more information www.ezypay.com
The course fee balance needs to be paid by the end of the classroom time or if utilising a payment plan, within 12 months. This will be discussed on an individual level. Full payment is required before the certificate can the released.

Certification
Following the successful completion of the program, Qualification Testamur and Record of Achievement will be issued in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
